“ I am a pretty tough critic and I can tell you that the lower ratings on this place is NO WHERE near accurate. The ambiance makes you feel right at home as if you were in Bangkok. Parking is ample and plenty. We are frequent guests especially during the week. We leave nearby and make every effort to take a lunch break to eat here. They have great lunch special values. We have our favorites including pad see Lew, drunken noodles and tamarind fish. Everything we've ordered has been so flavorful! Food is cooked fast and comes out hot. They don't rely on waitressing services to provide you with service. It appears family ran and they do it all on their own. In the past, they've perferred cash tips but I always forget and they don't give me a hard time. Please give them a try and don't be so hard on these small business owners. We hope this business continues to do thrive as we love coming here !!! This is one of my 6-year old favorite restaurants. ”
“ Stumbled across Rhong-Tiam as we were looking for some Thai food and our first option was surprisingly booked at even 6pm on a Saturday. This place is located within the Princeton Meadows Shopping Center. It's like 5 or so minutes off of Route 1 driving past Lifetime Fitness. Kind of a quiet-ish area. It's a pretty unassuming strip mall from the outside, but there's a bit of a local charm to the facades that maintain some local integrity. With all that said - there was only one other party of 4 at the restaurant when we arrived. Quiet - but not surprising due to the hour and the fact that takeout is king with Thai food. We ordered two main meals: 1) Red Curry with Vegetables (medium spice) 2) Pad Kee Mao with Vegetables (medium spice) First observation is that the food arrived FAST. Like almost 5-7 mins, no joke. But it wasn't undercooked, it came out steaming hot. Second is that they gave us a healthy proportion of vegetables and tofu. Sometimes, these restaurants skimp on the veggies, but this place did not. Pad Kee Mao definitely had a nice kick to it. The Red Curry also had a nice spice and was pretty creamy too. Truthfully, we could've easily split a meal and appetizer and called it a day. However, we did not and had plenty of leftovers. The leftovers also tasted great. It lasted almost 2 meals. I think all in all, we were done in almost 45 mins and had enough time to grab a drink before catching a train. At about $32 for two people's dinner and two leftover meals, I think this is good value for Thai food. I don't know if this is my PERSONAL best as I have a preferred place closer to home. But this is certainly close, despite what other reviews may say. ”
“ Felt this place went downhill for a while, but just had dinner here tonight after a number of years and it was wonderful. Had the roti canai, pad see lew and classic garlic beef.... Delish! ”
“ As a Thai food place, it is pretty good neighborhood restaurant with good choices. Their soup is not that good. They put a ton of onion. I have had Tom Yum soup with much better taste. Nice little place, not too crowded. Waiters are nice. ”

“ I still can't figure out all the mixed reviews for this place. But, I have to say our party of 4 had a wonderful Thai dinner with delicious entrees and great service. I'm upping my score by a star as this is the 3rd time, I've been here in recent years and no complaints! I ordered the Crispy Basil Chicken (one of my favorites at Rhong-Tiam). In fact, I like the Crispy Basil Chicken preparation so much, I have a hard time ordering something different. The rest of the table ordered the Crispy Basil Duck, Peanut Chicken Rama, and Black Pepper Beef. In the past, I've also tried the Cashew Nut Chicken and the Tropical Mango Chicken. Every entree I have had here has been flavorful and delicious. The restaurant is nicely decorated, small and intimate, service is great, and it's a BYOB! In my opinion, it's a wonderful local establishment to get your Thai fix! ”
“ I don't know why this has 3 stars, it's always been great for me - I get takeout almost every week!The owner is always very nice and friendly. My favorite is the tropical mango dish with tofu, but I also like the Mee Siam and Pad Kee Mao! Their hours have changed - they're now closed on Tuesdays but open every other day. Also, if you create a login when ordering online, you'll receive discounts (10-15%) via email. For me, the only thing they could improve on is reading special instructions on online orders. ”
